Bursary Application

At the Africa School of Governance our mission is to cultivate ethical leaders who are committed to decision-making grounded in fairness, integrity, transparency, and accountability. We also aim to develop skilled leaders who excel in effective communication, critical thinking, and adaptability to evolving situations. To this end, we offer bursaries for all our courses to deserving candidates to support their educational journey, their personal and their professional growth. 

 

​Our bursaries are awarded as a non-repayable grant based on merit and/or financial need. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: -

In order to apply for a bursary, Applicants will need to meet the following requirements:-

  • Applicants will be assessed on academic excellence and will need to provide their latest academic qualifications; 

  • Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and must provide a motivation as such;

  • Applicants must be involved in their communities and will need to demonstrate social impact activities; 

  • Applicants must provide a Personal Statement; 

  • Applications must be accompanied by a Motivational Letter by an employer, leader in their church community or mentor; and 

  • Applicants must agree to be trained according to a Judeo-Christian value system and must align with the School’s mission, vision and values. 

*Applicants are only allowed to apply for one (1) bursary (course) at a time.

 

Should an applicant be successful in their application, they will be exempt from making payment of the course fee only. Any other course requirements/costs will be for their own account.
